HOPE MAURER 

STYLIST

Hope graduated from Douglas J Grand Rapids in May 2023. Shortly after graduation, she accepted a job with Douglas J where she was able to further her training and start her career as a stylist. 

She found her time with Douglas J very valuable, but ultimately decided to move back to her hometown (Traverse City), to be closer to her family.

Hope has always had a knack for art and beauty. From braiding her friends’ hair at recess to doing their hair for prom, Hope has always loved to make others look and feel their best. 

Hope’s love of art comes into play when she’s coloring and styling hair. She believes art and beauty go hand in hand and she’s excited to have found her passion.

On her days off, you can find Hope on a hike or at the beach soaking up the sun as well as spending time with her family and friends.
